Sage requires very little care.  It is best grown in POOR SOIL for the strongest flavor and highest concentrate of essential oils.  If grown for ornamental use.  Rich soil will produce luscious growth, but contain less flavor and oil concentrate.  One hint on Sage is to plant in well drained soil.  Container planting is also an option with this herb.
