Siam Queen Thai Basil has one of the showiest basil flowers we have personally seen. The dramatic abundance of purple blossoms makes it ideal as “edible landscaping”.  Plant where you’ll walk as the subtle sent of “cloves” and basil greets you when you come  home. Easy to grow. Does well potted or in the ground.

USE and STORAGE:

The more you harvest, the more it will bush out and produce!

Has a very distinct but subtle anise flavor.  Add to soups, stir fries, and Asian cooking.  Add to Salads for a twist.

Basil may be used:

1. immediately after harvest,

2. Set in a flower vase in a well lit room. Change water every so often. The cut basil can last over a week.

3. Basil may be frozen for winter months (for use in cooked dishes)

4. Basil keeps very well when dried for multi-purposes later
