Child in the Field

A Love Account

What I have to write here is very important.  And it is no accident that it was posted here. Your path was ordered by God to answer some questions.  The letter below touches on very sensitive questions pertaining to love, purpose, and “How does God see me…now?”  In the hour we have been born to, these questions need answering.   Ezekiel wrote prophetically in the Old Testament concerning our history and how God saw you…specifically

I am going to touch back and forth between two passages: one in the Old Testament, the second in the New.  Both are talking about an individual you, and ultimately express God’s heart.

Thus says the Lord God… “As for your nativity, on the day you were born your navel cord was not cut, nor were you washed in water to cleanse you: you were not rubbed with salt nor wrapped in swaddling cloths.  No eye pitied you, to do any of these things for you, to have compassion on you; but you were thrown out in the open field on the day you were born.” Ezekiel 16:4-5

Then, from God’s own mouth, He expressed what He saw lying in the field:

(Jesus) answered and said to them…“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure (the child) hidden in a field, which a man (Himself) found and hid…  Matthew 13:37,44

“And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood (in the field), I said to you in your blood, “Live!”  Yes, I said to you in your blood, “Live!Ezekiel 16:6

Return to Matthew 13:44

“… and for joy over it (the child in the field) he goes and sells all that he had and buys that field.”

Thrown out, as garbage, on the day of birth… Yet note the value God placed on you, the one thrown into the field.  He called you a treasure in the first half of Matthew 13:44.

You may not understand the origins of how we got this way, but when Adam disobeyed God in the garden, he sold himself and his offspring to Sin with Satan (Romans 6:16).  Man’s spirit died in this contract.  Legally, mankind became the property of Satan (who used us and pitched us out).  Here, we were struggling in our own bloody effort, lying in Satan’s field.

Everything you and I have ever done in our own effort, apart from God produced death in us.  (John 15:4-6) We were covered in the filth, and ugliness that came from our struggling on that ground.  And He found you in this state, and loved (you)… where you were at:

Listen, a pearl in its natural state is slimy, gross, and unattractive.  There is no visual worth in her.

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who when he had found one pearl (me) of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought (me).”  - Matthew 13:45-46.  This verse was the very next verse in Matthew 13!  Go look!!  God is describing Himself and that child He saw in the field by this example.

God is omnipotent; He sees the end from the very beginning and saw Jessica before she was born and everything she was.  He knew about the ugly.  Yet He set a value, unparalleled, upon me/ upon you by name.  And sold everything to pay it.   We in turn cried, “Crucify him!  Let Him die! We don’t want you...”

His response was, “I do not care what you do to Me; I want you.  I do not care what I have to go through, or what I have to pay.  I want that child in the field, (you)” and He paid… with chunks of flesh being ripped off His body by a cat-o-nine-tails.  And yet, He kept getting up to bear it - He would not stay down.  Why?  Because He said, “The price is not enough, for her/him.  I will pay the full price.”  Do you realize… He did not look like a man after this? (Isaiah 42:15)  Yet, He would not die at the whipping post.  He was not finished paying.  He hung naked for Jessica/for you, nailed through His body to the cross.   That is passionate, tough love.

John 19:28-30

28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!"

29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth.

30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. (NKJ)

At this point, He descended into the lowest depths of hell to suffer the full punishment there for sin.  Remember we legally belonged to Satan and sin.  The wages of sin produces death (Romans 6:23).  The full punishment fell on Jesus.  The full cost fell upon Him.  And yet, He did not count it too high.  Notice, that when He rose from the dead, Jesus chose to keep the nail holes in His hands forever.  To Him, they are love marks, a sign of covenant with you.  You know that a husband and wife wear a ring on their left hand when they come into covenant with each other.  Jesus has the covenant ring on both hands – forever!  - And no regrets…

Isaiah 49:15-16  "Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you.  See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands…”  (NKJ)

Do you realize what this is talking about!

Let’s go back and finish looking at that prophesy over us in Ezekiel.  Remember the pearl-price for that child struggling in blood.  What happens next… becomes our story when we accept Jesus’ covenant blood:  Ezekiel 16:8-13

8 "When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine," says the Lord GOD.

9 "Then I washed you in water; yes, I thoroughly washed off your blood, and I anointed you with oil.

10 "I clothed you in embroidered cloth and gave you sandals of badger skin; I clothed you with fine linen and covered you with silk.

11 "I adorned you with ornaments… and I put a… beautiful crown on your head.

13 "Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. You ate pastry of fine flour, honey, and oil [from My table]. You were exceedingly beautiful, and succeeded to royalty. [You are My household, not the bleeding child you were.] (NKJ)

God says: Even Satan can not accuse you before Me.  He has been cast out of heaven. The only one he can accuse you before, is you.  Therefore on earth as it is in heaven - cast him out of your mind.  And believe the love I have for you.  Believe the blood price to cleanse. You are right standing in My presence, the apple of My affection.  Says the Lord.

I John 1:9  “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  (NKJ)   (You saw that in Ezekiel 16:8-13 above)

Revelations 12:10-11

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of their testimony...  (NKJ)

To the one who has never chosen to receive Jesus’ payment...  It is a choice. (by believing it in your heart and confessing Christ as your Savior, with your mouth)

To pass up Jesus’ blood payment is to remain a slave to sin and Satan. (Romans 6:16) The slave-wages of sin is death, and ultimately hell’s fire.  (Romans 6:26)

God never sent anyone to hell.  He gave everything He had to save and make you His own.  You send your self to hell by rejecting the blood-price of Jesus.  Hell is not for bad persons – good, sincere individuals go to hell the same as murders if they are not sealed with Jesus’ blood.  Why?

A dead spirit sends you to hell. (Remember that Adam sold mankind to Sin.  Genesis 2:17) As, Adam’s offspring, you are born with a dead spirit.  For the wages of sin is death – ultimately in hell, separated from God.  That is why Jesus had to pay the sin-debt price - to buy you from that field.  It is now your choice… to receive or to refuse His blood.  If you choose to “pass” on the Blood, the balance owed for your sin remains… and you still have to satisfy the debt – in hell.   For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  - Romans 6:23

He’s not mad at you.  He’s not willing that the child in the field should perish, but that you have everlasting life.

- John 3:17-18,16

17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

How do I receive the Blood payment?

“… if you confess (declare) with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, you will be saved.  - Romans 10:9

I want to note that the same way you receive salvation, will also be the same way you see the rest of the prophesy in Ezekiel 16:10-13 be fulfilled in your life.  Enter into the love covenant with God! Become His

Recently the Lord strongly instructed me to write this article and share it.  Jesus is very urgent in His desire to talk to you.  He is coming soon to take God’s Family home, to the house He has prepared for us, His beloved!  I am looking forward to seeing you there.
