What do you have in your hands…

…When what you have is not enough?

What? Buy a land we had no money saved for? Heal a man who had not spoken in 20 years? Go to college with no income? Speak encouragement into someone’s life you didn’t think you could.

WHEN did God ever ask you to do something that you had the means to do?  Never.
It was always beyond what you had.   But what do you have in your hands?

(Mark 6:33-44)

When Jesus told His disciples: you go feed the people... He knew what they had... and the whole time intended for this command to be a partnership.

"What do you have?” He asked, already knowing.

"Two fish and five loaves of bread."

It was not enough.

- John 6:7 Philip answered Him, "Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not SUFFICIENT.... not even that every one of them may have a LITTLE."

What you have alone is never sufficient to accomplish the dream/ the word God spoke in your heart. What do you have?

John 6:9 "There is... five barely loaves and two SMALL fish...”

But Jesus blessed it.

“GO! Feed them.” Was the word He gave them.

Faith does not sit. Faith is going and doing what He asked. They took the insufficient amount and went. And every time they reached their hand in the basket, there was always another piece of bread, and another fish for the need in front of them.

What did He tell you?  Did you sit down because you knew what you had, and it wasn’t enough... “I know this place is the last fish in this basket!”

Perception is only the order in which the images are arranged. But unless that order of images comes from the angle of God's word to you, your perception is not ACCURATE.

Psalms 119:160 The entirety of Your Word is Truth... (Truth is on a higher plain than even facts. Realize this: Truth changes facts.)

Ok, how did that bread get multiplied for the multitude???
Let me ask you this? How did Light appear in Genesis chapter 1 where there was darkness and void before?

It always takes 1. A Word from God 2. His Holy Spirit to create that word.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Genesis 1:2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.  And the (Holy) Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

Notice that the Holy Spirit was hovering but nothing happened until the Word of God was released.

Genesis 1:3 Then God said (released the word) "Let there be light"; and there was light. Immediately the Holy Spirit moved in on that word to create what was not there before. Do you see?!

What do you have? The Word and the Holy Spirit...?
You have enough.

So what about when God speaks a picture in your heart? A word.....

The same Holy Spirit that was hovering over the face of the deep, hovers over the face of the deep places in your heart... waiting for that word to come. (Because His function is to create that word)

2 Corinthians 4:6-7 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness (in Gen 1) who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

But we have this (same) treasure (of the Holy Spirit) in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the POWER)may be of God and not of us.

What do you have in your hands when what YOU have alone, is not enough?

John 6:13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.
